Inside the conservatory was a grand poinsettia display.
Outside were fires and music and a Winter Solstice Bonfire Resolution
Happy solstice!!
I'm not from Kansas. I've never even been to Kansas. But, like Dorothy, I keep ending up very, very far from home.
Thanks for sharing your Solstice Celebration with us. I love poinsettias. I loved all the pictures, but I especially like the lastone of the fire.
ReplyDeleteWhat an interesting celebration! Very beautiful and meaningful.
ReplyDeleteI have never seen the solstice bonfire instructions. That's beautiful! I want to do that next year.
ReplyDeleteHappy Holidays!

I had never seen it before either but I love it!
DeleteThat's wonderful. I love love love this.
ReplyDelete(hm did my comment disappear?) In summation. I love the bonfire message and Australia doesn't seem to take any notice of the solstice at all (for example summer starts on December 1, Spring on September 1, and Winter on June 1...and Autumn on March 1).
